SKI BOARDING CANADA
|
 |
 |
 |
You'll normally ski 10 to 15 runs per day, approximately 12,000 and 15,000 vertical feet. The average run consists of 60% open bowl skiing
with 40% tree skiing on the bottom end. However, we have a
number of runs that are all open bowl or all trees, which are
skied depending on visibility or snow conditions.
|
 |
| Public information and education in avalanch science
and rescue techniques, the CAA implements a data-sharing system that
aids our guides in making accurate assessements
of snow stability when they correlate it with
local field data. | |
In the event
of an emergency, your guides are trained in
every possible scenario. We recommend that you carry
insurance for ambulance service in the event of an
emergency.
