HOW TO GET HERE
Approximately 125
miles (200 km) north of Vancouver, British Columbia.
Transfers to Tyax Mountain Lake Resort are provided by
courtesy bus from Vancouver or Whistler Resort.
Helicopter transfers from Vancouver or Whistler can be
arranged on request |

Gear
These
specially designed powder skis make Heli-Skiing
seem effortless for the advanced skier and allow
the less experienced powder skier to feel
confident and enjoy the sensation of deep powder
skiing. Our ski shop stocks a
variety of ski poles suitable for Heli-Skiing
which are included in our
packages.
Clothing
On any given day, we may
encounter a wide variety of weather conditions and
temperatures. We recommend two or three thin
layers, which are easily removed, be worn under
your ski
suit.

Boots
Your normal ski boots are suitable for
Heli-Skiing. Avoid new boots as pressure points will
spoil the fun. We have no stock of ski boots at
the Lodge and we recommend that you carry your ski boots
on the plane as hand baggage so that they are sure to
arrive! |

Retail Shop
In our Retail shop you will find a
selection of jackets, sweatshirts, thermal underwear,
t-shirts, baseball caps, goggles, touques, sun glasses,
sunscreen and of course perfect gloves for the
powder.
