Pick up at Finch Subway Station. Drive through the heart of Ontario farm land and cottage country. Lunch will be served on the shores of Rock Lake in Algonquin Park. Begin paddling into one of the interior lakes of the park. After short instruction and a 3 hour paddle you will set up camp. The rest of day can be spent exploring the area. Dinner will be served by the side of a blazing campfire.
Day 2:
Today you will be exploring a meandering river, after a short portage past an old dam you will paddle to slow moving waters of teh South Madawaska River. Set up camp.
Day 3:
After breakfast you pack up the camp and start the journey home. You will be back at the vehicles about 2 pm at start back to Toronto. Arrival at the subway station around 7 pm.
