Five star 'fly-in' lake trout & pike fishing

Experience the excitement of trophy lake fishing, the serenity of the northern wilderness and the comfort of a world class 5-star lodge in Big Sand Lake in northern Manitoba. Ultimate lake fishing awaits in Big Sand Lake that is teeming with 20-30+ pound northern pike and 3-4 pound walleye. Lake trout and arctic grayling are also in abundance in these pristine waters.

Enjoy the view of the beautiful unspoiled wilderness from the deck of your comfortable cabin. Extended daylight hours will give you all the fishing you can handle, and the fish will provide tons of excitement.

Five star 'fly-in' lake trout & pike fishing

Season: June to August
Requirements: Personal fishing tackle and license.
Suggested Items: Sunglasses, camera, sunscreen, insect repellent, daypack, pocket knife.
Suggested Clothing: Warm clothing suited to a variety of weather conditions, boots, hat, rain gear, gloves.
Difficulty: Easy
Restrictions: Price based on two persons fishing per boat. If fishing solo, add $100 (US$) per day. The lodge promotes catch and release of the trophy fish.
Maximum Number of People: 30
Equipment Provided: Boat, motor, fuel, fishing gear and tackle.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Price includes direct return flight from Winnipeg to the lodge.
Accommodations: Private, heated guest cabins are fully carpeted, sleep two in queen size beds, with modern bathrooms, deck, fireplace and maid service. The main lodge has a hot tub and guest lounge.
Meal Information: Deluxe meals at the lodge and shore lunches on the lake.
Guide Information: Fully experienced and friendly.
Weather Information: Daytime summer temperatures average 10-25 degrees Celsius.
