ABOUT THIS REGION  MULTI ACTIVITY TRIPS - WINTER

Dogsled and snowmobile in Canada's north

Experience a winter fantasyland of sculptured snow and ice brought to life under the brilliance of the arctic sun or the dancing northern lights. With professional outfitting backed by years of experience in Arctic travel, we are able to provide you with a warm, safe Arctic adventure. Using our comfortable wood-heated lodges as terminals for this adventure will allow you full enjoyment of each day's activities. We maintain radio contact with base camp on all of our trips, for your safety and peace of mind. You are never far from a hot mug of tea over a crackling fire. Each day is filled with a variety of activities requiring only basic skills and a willingness to participate. Daily activities include dogsledding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and igloo building. In the evening, watch the northern lights dance across the sky.

Dogsled and snowmobile in Canada's north

Your journey of exploration and adventure will take place at an authentic wilderness lodge, located northwest of Churchill, Manitoba. This dynamic seaport has long been known as the „Polar Bear Capital of the World. and was also one of the original New World arrival points of the Old World Explorers. The tundra is frozen and snow covered at this time of year which makes for an amazing Arctic-like experience while being somewhat further south. This trip also offers the opportunity to participate in Inuit traditions. You will build your own igloo (for a night's stay if you feel so inclined) and you will witness the start of an authentic dog sled race; the Hudson Bay Quest.
