Downhill skiing packages in the Banff area

Located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, the towns of Banff and Canmore offer access to some of the best downhill skiing in the world. These hotel packages offer comfortable accommodations and tri-area lift tickets, allowing you to choose from three different ski locations, Mt. Norquay, Lake Louise and Sunshine Village. For your convenience, the transportation from your hotel to the hills is included in the packages.

Downhill skiing packages in the Banff area

Tri-area passes will allow you to ski one or all three of the local mountains. Lake Louise is located about 40 minutes from Banff and offers 4200 acres of ski-able terrain over three mountains. Sunshine Village is located 30 minutes from Banff and offers 3100 acres of 100% natural snow. Mt. Norquay is conveniently located adjacent to the town of Banff and also offers some excellent night skiing. In the evening, there is plenty of nightlife to enjoy and a soak in the hot tub is the perfect way to end the day.

Downhill skiing packages in the Banff area

Season: November to April
Requirements: Skis and equipment.
Suggested Items: Camera, daypack, sunglasses, sunscreen.
Suggested Clothing: Ski jacket, pants and boots, goggles, gloves, touque, fleece clothing, long underwear
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Equipment Provided: Lift tickets.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in Banff or Canmore, about 1.5 hours west of Calgary. Transportation to the hills is included.
Accommodations: Accommodations are in comfortable hotel rooms in the towns of Banff or Canmore. Facilities at the hotels include health club, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, dining room.
Meal Information: Not included in the price but available at local restaurants.
Weather Information: Winter temperatures average between 5 and -20 degrees celsius. Excellent snow conditions throughout the winter.
