Horseback riding at Okanagan guest ranch

While staying at a log guest ranch, enjoy horseback riding. Located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, this guest ranch offers a Western theme vacation where you will have the opportunity to take a reliable horse out on the local trails. Stay out for an hour or all day, then return to the beautiful mountain guest ranch for a memorable meal. Accommodation in comfortable rooms at the ranch.

Situated on 400 acres the log lodge commands comfort with a relaxed atmosphere and a remarkable view of the valley below. From the ranch, your possibilities for horseback adventure are endless.

Suggested Clothing: Wind breaker, shorts, t-shirts, sweater, riding pants, riding or hiking boots, sneakers, hat.
Difficulty: Easy
Maximum Number of People: 10
Equipment Provided: Horses and equipment.
Transportation: Ranch is located in the Okanagan Valley, near Summerland, BC, about 20 minutes north of Penticton and an hour north of the US border on Highway 97. Pick-up service included from the Pentiction, BC airport. Transportation arrangements available.
Accommodations: Large and comfortable guest rooms.
Meal Information: Breakfast included. Full meal packages available at additional cost.
Guide Information: Horses are ready to go, any riding instruction is available for $25/hour.
Weather Information: Summers in the Okanagan are warm and dry, with daytime temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s Celsius. Summerland has more hours of sunshine per year than Florida.
Comments: Additional hours are $10 per hour to maximum of $100 per day which includes lunch on the trail. Car or motorhome rental available from the ranch: car $30 per day, truck camper $80 per day, motorhome $150 per day (mileage over 100 km is $0.12/km for car and camper).
