Multi-activity winter adventure in Whitehorse

Sample a variety of winter sports on this multi-activity adventure trip in Whitehorse, Yukon. The package has a little bit of everything including dogsledding, snowmobiling, ice fishing, snowshoeing and sightseeing. After an exciting day of adventure you will return to comfortable hotel accommodations in Whitehorse. Whitehorse is also one of the best places in the world to view the aurora borealis.

Multi-activity winter adventure in Whitehorse

Each day you will head out on a new adventure and sample a different winter activity. One day will be spent touring the city of Whitehorse and the local Takhini Hotsprings as well as a local wildlife preserve. Kluane National Park is the location for your day of snowshoeing along the Auriol Trail. Another day will be spent on Atlin Lake in northern BC, where you will try your luck at some ice fishing. Nearby Fish Lake is your destination for a day of snowmobiling and another day will be a sightseeing trip to Skagway, Alaska. Your last day is spent on a full day dog sledding tour along the Takhini River and into the Ibex Valley west of Whitehorse.

Season: November to March
Suggested Clothing: Warm winter coat, snow boots, warm underclothes, long underwear, fleece or wool sweaters, hat, gloves, scarf. Winter clothing rentals are available.

Equipment Provided: Transportation from the airport, van transfers, snowshoe rental, all admission fees, sightseeing flight over Whitehorse, snowmobiles and equipment, ice fishing equipment, dogsledding equipment.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in Whitehorse, Yukon. Package includes airport transfers.
Accommodations: Accommodations are in a local hotel in the town of Whitehorse. All rooms have a private bath and TV.
Meal Information: 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches and 2 dinners are included in the package.
Guide Information: All activities are guided.
Weather Information: Average temperatures at the this time of winter are between -2° and - 24° Celsius / 28° to -31° degrees Fahrenheit, but extremes may be as low as -45° Celsius / -50° Fahrenheit.
