This is British Columbia's most popular whitewater rafting trip, and for good reason. The Thompson River is located in the desert area of B.C.'s interior where you can almost always enjoy warm, sunny weather.

The river grows more and more active as you travel downstream, with the last two hours of your trip providing 19 major rapids.

Season: July 13, 2013 to September 22, 2013
Suggested Clothing: Bathing suit or shorts, wool socks, sneakers or wetsuit boots, wool or fleece sweater and rain jacket. Dry clothing for after your adventure.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Restrictions: Children are welcome, but this trip is not recommended for anyone under 10.
Equipment Provided: Fully equipped rafts.
Transportation: Trips originate and end from the Lytton Hotel in Lytton, BC. From Vancouver travel east on Highway #1 to Hope, take the Fraser Canyon/Gold Rush Trail, still on Highway #1. Continue north to Lytton, about 105 km. Meet at the Lytton Hotel. Transportation arrangements available.
Accommodations: Not included, but arrangements can be made at local hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts or campsites.
Meal Information: A fantastic riverside lunch will be prepared and served by your guides.
Guide Information: All guides are qualified, first-aid trained and licensed. They will do their most to ensure your trip is safe and enjoyable.
Weather Information: In the summer, daytime temperatures average 20-30 degrees Celsius.
Comments: Trips depart weekdays at 10:30 am and weekends at 10:00 am or 11:30 am from the Lytton Hotel. 5% Park Use Fee applies to prices.
