Whitewater rafting trip on the Chilliwack River

The fast-paced Chilliwack River offers exciting whitewater rafting. It drops at a rate of 35 feet per mile creating numerous long rapids. This trip is highlighted by the famous 'Tamahi' and 'Sawmill' rapids where the Canadian Kayaking Championships are held each spring.

Season: May 9, 2010 to July 19, 2010
Suggested Items: Camera, daypack.
Suggested Clothing: Bathing suit or shorts, wool socks, sneakers or wetsuit boots, wool or fleece sweater and rain jacket. Dry clothing for after your adventure.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Restrictions: Children are welcome, but this trip is not recommended for anyone under 10.
Equipment Provided: Wetsuits, rafts and safety equipment.
Transportation: Trips originate and end south of Chilliwack, BC. Travel 1 hour east of Vancouver on Highway #1 to Chilliwack, take Exit 119 south. Take a left on Knight Road at Canadian Tire, second set of lights. Take first right at Shaw Road. Meet in the parking lot of Major League II.
Accommodations: Not included, but arrangements can be made at local hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts or campsites.
Meal Information: A fantastic riverside lunch will be prepared and served by your guides.
Guide Information: All guides are qualified, first-aid trained and licensed. They will do their most to ensure your trip is safe and enjoyable.
Weather Information: In the summer, daytime temperatures average 15-30 degrees Celsius. The water will be cool, but wetsuits are provided.
Comments: Trips depart at 10:30 am midweek and Sundays. 10:00 am on Saturdays. 5% Park Use Fee applies to prices.
