Enjoy hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, fishing and wildlife watching on this multi-activity trip into Spatsizi Wilderness Park. Nestled in the northface of the Eaglenest Mountains is Cold Fish Lake. At the north end of the lake is Bug Lake, your base camp for the duration of the trip. This is the gateway to the spectacular Eaglenest Range, home of Osborne caribou, Stone sheep, mountain goat, moose, grizzly, wolf, and wolverine. In the heart of the Eaglenest mountains stay in our cozy log cabins, and enjoy the comforts of our showerhouse and hearty home-cooked meals. Depart daily on horseback into the spectacular Eaglenest Range. Explore rugged valleys and observe wildlife in their undisturbed natural habitat. Hike in alpine meadows, brilliantly colored with wild flowers. Or spend a day fishing for Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout or Arctic Grayling. Each night return to our comfortable base camp. If desired, you have an option to spend several nights in the mountains. This expedition is designed for people who enjoy riding but do not want to camp out for a whole week. These trips offer plenty of time to relax, hike, photograph wildflowers and wildlife.

Spatsizi Plateau Wilderness Park is one of British Columbia's largest and most significant parks and encompasses more than 675,000 hectares of untouched wilderness. A portion of the central part of the park has been designated as the Gladys Lake Ecological Reserve. Supported within the park are large populations of wildlife including moose, caribou, goat, Stone sheep, grizzly, black bears, wolves, wolverine, beavers, hoary marmots and more than 140 species of birds. The Park is located 200 air miles north of Smithers, British Columbia. This area, over 3600 square miles, is not accessible by road; the only access is via air or an extensive journey by river boat, pack horse or foot. Spatsizi encompasses three major vegetation zones: alpine tundra, spruce-willow birch, boreal white and black spruce forest. The park spreads across two broad physiographic regions: Spatsizi Plateau and Eaglenest Range. Elevation in the Plateau ranges from 1600m to 2000m. The mountains to the southwest are the Eaglenest Range. The Eaglenest Mountains are rugged and alpine glaciation produced cirques, tarns, and hanging valleys. The highest peak is Mt. Will at 2500m. The river drainage includes the Spatsizi River and Upper Stikine. The scenery and terrain make Spatsizi park an excellent place for quality wildlife watching, backpacking, horseback riding, paddling, and fly-fishing.

| Transportation: Trips originate and end in Smithers, BC. Package includes flight from Smithers into Spatsizi. Smithers is accessible by road on Highway #16, about 3 hours west of Prince George. Regional flights from Vancouver to Smithers are available. |
| Accommodations: Wilderness lodges for all or some nights. Laslui facilities include running water, electricity, separate flush toilets, showers/sink in the cabins. They have a full time chef and housekeeper at the lodge. |
