The group will meet in Points North, Saskatchewan. After the float plane ride to the mouth of the William River you'll set up camp and begin hiking and exporing the area. The group will spend several days hiking to the largest dunes. Then you'll return to the shores of Lake Athabasca to await the float plane to take you back to Points North.

| Requirements: Daypack, water bottle, camera, binoculars. |
| Suggested Clothing: Two changes of clothes for a broad range of temperatures, long sleeved shirts, long pants, wool or fleece sweater, windbreaker, dry foot wear and wet foot wear, wool socks, hat, gloves, rain gear. |

| Equipment Provided: 17' Royalex hull Trail Head Prospectors, Old Town Trippers, rescue and first aid equipment, trip-proven 3-season nylon tents, tarps for group shelter, thermarest mattresses, warm Hollofill sleeping bags, waterproof floating barrels. |
| Transportation: Trips begin and end in Points North, Saskatchewan. Transwest Air flies to Points North from Saskatoon several times a day. |
| Accommodations: Accommodations are in tent camps along the river. |
| Meal Information: Meals are included. |
| Guide Information: We have the most highly trained and experienced guides in Saskatchewan. Certified instructors of flatwater and whitewater canoeing as well as wilderness camping. Each guide is trained in rescue, first aid and CPR, so you know you're in good hands. |
| Weather Information: Summer temperatures range from 15 to 25 degrees Celsius. |
