Multi-activity hiking trip with pack dogs

Wander over hills, through forested valleys and along crystal clear creeks with a string of pack dog companions on one of these pack trips. Spend part of your pack trip hiking through this beautiful region while your canine companions eagerly carry much of the gear and allow you to enjoy this beautiful region without the burden of a heavy pack. The second half of the trip can be spent relaxing at a base camp where you can choose from a variety of activities, including day hikes, canoeing and evening dog team rides.

Season: June to September
Requirements: Backpack, sleeping bag.
Suggested Items: Camera, binoculars, sunglasses, insect repellent, sunscreen, pocket knife, fishing gear and license.
Suggested Clothing: Hiking boots, rain gear, swimsuit, hat and warm clothing suitable to a variety of weather conditions.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Maximum Number of People: 10
Equipment Provided: All camping gear, tents.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in Whitehorse, Yukon. Transportation arrangements available.
Accommodations: Accommodations in a log cabin, wall tents or tent campsites along the trail.
Meal Information: Meals will be delicious picnics and cook-outs on the beach.
Guide Information: Licensed and experienced.
Weather Information: Summer temperatures average between 10-22 degrees celsius, fall temperatures are cooler and evenings may be below zero.
Comments: This trip is suitable for anyone wanting to introduce a family member or friend to wilderness camping.
