ABOUT THIS REGION  HORSE PACK TRIPS

Horse pack trip into the Alberta Rocky Mountains

This horsepack adventure is a 3 day wilderness experience into the spectacular beauty of the Rocky Mountains surrounding Banff National Park. On departure day, you and the other guests meet at the foothills ranch at 9:30AM, where you will be transferred by vehicle to the Lesseuer Creek Trail Head Camp. There you will meet your guides and horses. After packing up, you'll mount up and have a leisurely 12 mile ride to Base Camp, with lunch served on the trail. On the second day, you will take a ride either to Black Rock or to Devil's Head Mountain. There will be enough time for fishing, hiking, or just enjoying the scenery. On the last day, after a hearty breakfast, the group will pack up and move out for the Trail Head Camp. From there your guides will transport you back to the ranch, where we'll say your goodbyes.

Horse pack trip into the Alberta Rocky Mountains

This ranch remains a small, truly western operation and guests can enjoy the solitude of western life without the modern day distractions. This region of the Rockies is known for its wild horse herds, and it is where the bighorn sheep can be seen. Fishing is also available as well as a chance for excellent pictures. Experience the Canadian Rockies of Alberta the way you should; on horseback, where you can truly know the peace, quiet, and solitude.
