Motorcycle tour through Western Canada in a week

Explore the best western Canada has to offer on this week long guided motorcycle tour through British Columbia and the Rocky Mountains. You have the option of choosing a westbound or eastbound route. The eastbound tour begins in Vancouver and ends in Calgary. Eastbound holiday combines the Coast Mountains, the arid interior, the majestic Canadian Rockies and world famous Lake Louise (the most photographed lake on the planet) into an amazing ride with a huge diversity of scenery. This holiday features a nice relaxed pace, including off-days in both Jasper & Banff, which allows for plenty of scenic stopovers and memorable destinations.

The westbound tour begins in Calgary and ends in Vancouver. The westbound holiday combines the Coast Mountains, the arid interior, the pristine lakes of the Kootenays and the majestic Canadian Rockies into a ride with a huge diversity of scenery. Including off-days in both Nelson and Osoyoos, you'll begin in the heart of the Canadian Rockies and find yourself riding through the lakeside summer resort towns of B.C.'s Kootenay & Okanagan Valley region within days. This holiday features some of the best motorcycle roads in the province.

Motorcycle tour through Western Canada in a week

Season: early July to late July
Requirements: Good riding boots, gloves and helmet. Fuel not included for your motorcycle (approx. $15-20 per day).
Suggested Items: Camera, daypack, sunglasses, water bottle.
Suggested Clothing: Warm riding gear, rainsuit, casual clothing for evening wear, hiking boots or sports shoes.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Restrictions: All riders must be at least 25 years old and have a valid motorcycle drivers license. Also a minimum of two years and/or 10,000 km riding experience is required. All riders must be comfortable riding a large displacement modern motorcycle and comfortable riding in a variety of conditions including rain, twisty mountain roads, switchbacks and the possibility of gravel or debris on the pavement.
Maximum Number of People: 15
Equipment Provided: Motorcycle rentals which may include a variety of new Triumph, BMW, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia and Harley Davidson. Motorcycle insurance, chase vehicle for bags, passengers and spare motorcycle, maps, entrance fees to national parks.
Transportation: Eastbound tour begins in Whistler, BC and ends in Calgary Alberta. Whistler is located about a 2.5 hour drive north of Vancouver. Transfers between Vancouver and Whistler are included in the price. Westbound tour begins in Calgary and ends in Whistler, BC.
Accommodations: All upscale accommodation, including first & last nights stay in Whistler. Your guides choose the finest hotels, resorts and inns each area has to offer.
Meal Information: Meals are included and are fine dining at local hotels and restaurants. You choose from top-notch, open menus. Order according to your taste and preference, there is never a set menu or group menu. Meals on rest days are not included. Alcoholic beverages not included with the meals. Special dietary needs can be accommodated.
Guide Information: Tours are led by experienced guides who provide a wealth of information on riding in the region and attractions on and off the beaten path. Guest care, safety and fun are their priorities. They are experienced guides with expert knowledge of the routes, roads and driving conditions.
Weather Information: Temperatures can range from 10-30 degrees celsius, depending on the time of year.
Comments: Reduced rates available if bringing your own bike.
