Salmon and steelhead fishing in BC

Enjoy river fishing for salmon and steelhead on a multitude of rivers in northern BC. Fish exclusive river hotspots on the Crooked, Bowron, Fraser, Nechako, Parsnip, Salmon, Stellako, Copper, Skeena, Kitsumkalum, Zymoetz, Cranberry, Kitimat, Kispoix, Kloiya, Ksi Sii Aks River (formerly Tseax), Lachmach, Lake Else, Morice and Sustut Rivers, plus many more. Your guides let you experience arm wrenching fishing for Spring (also known as Chinook, Tyee and King), Coho (also known as Silver), Pink and Sockeye (also known as Red) Salmon, Steelhead, Arctic Grayling, Trout and Char. Overnight camping tours allow you to maximize your time on the rivers.

Salmon and steelhead fishing in BC

The fishing seasons are as follows: King Salmon (Chinook,Tyee or Spring ) May 15 until August 15. Coho Salmon (Silver) July 15 until October 1. Sockeye Salmon (Red) July 1 to August 15. Pink Salmon (Humpback) July 15 to August 31.

Salmon and steelhead fishing in BC

Season: April to November
Requirements: Sleeping bag and pillow, daypack.
Suggested Clothing: Warm coat, rain gear, hiking boots, hat.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Maximum Number of People: 15
Equipment Provided: Group camping gear, fishing gear include casting lessons, fly tying and fishing techniques.
Transportation: Fishing trips can originate and end in Prince Rupert or Kitimat, British Columbia. Sturgeon fishing trips are done on the lower Fraser River and we launch the boats from Fort Langley (about 25 minutes from Vancouver B.C). Your guide also uses Terrace B.C for a rendezvous place when fishing the Skeena and its tributary's and Prince George for Trout (all species), Grayling and Kokanee fly-fishing trips.
Accommodations: Campsites along the river.
Meal Information: All food and beverages included and may include local seafood. Lunch included on the single day tours.
Guide Information: All guides are fully trained and certified to do their job to its full potential. They are seasoned professionals with an intimate knowledge of the local geography. We require a minimum of five years experience in our local wilderness, and on our waters, and each guide must have all the required valid certificates to host our adventures, including First Aid Certificate and Small Vessels Operators License.
Weather Information: The coastal areas of northern BC have a mild and temperate climate, but guests should be prepared for rain as well as sun. Average daytime temperatures from May to September are 10-22 degrees Celsius.
