ABOUT THIS REGION  FLY IN FISHING LODGES - RIVERS

Heli fishing BC's coastal rivers - salmon & trout

Heli-Fishing is for anyone who wants to participate in the most unbelievable sport fishing adventure of a lifetime. The remote coast of British Columbia has many streams that only see a few anglers a year. These trips take you into this fishing nirvana. No longer is anyone "retired" from fishing. Mountains are mere hurdles for your magic carpet. You can fly out of the rain, and, if the bite goes off, you simply move to another paradise, more beautiful and productive than the one you just left. Each river is alive with fish and there are enough rivers to choose from as your pilot/guide takes you throughout 30,000 square miles, from sea level through seven thousand feet. Depending on anglers skill, each day can see you catching upwards of 30 fish. Lunch takes on a new meaning when you're on top of the world in a restaurant that's never crowded. And a rest on the bank of a wilderness river will be well deserved. All of a sudden the urgency is gone, as a mellow Nimmo moment envelopes you. Then, in an instant, you're back streamside fighting Trout, Coho, Chinook, Chum or Pink Salmon. At the end of your day, the fish is the ultimate winner, as this fishery is 100% catch and release. You are also a winner, as the memory and the pictures live to tell and retell the tale. Cutthroat, Rainbow and Dolly Varden play a large part in nature's annual pageant. Nimmo Bay is a Hardy Endorsed Fly Fishing Resort

As your magic carpet ride is choreographed with enchanting music, you dance among majestic mountains and misted spruce tops to land in rivers rarely visited by mankind. Rivers that abound with Grizzly, Wolf, Cougar, and Eagles who just watch as we partake in their daily ritual - fishing. Fly fish or spin cast for wild B.C. Pacific Salmon, Char and Cutthroat Trout. From May to October these fish await the novice and expert angler. All necessary equipment is available to you. Your helicopter stays with you all day to ensure your success and safety. Return to Nimmo Bay each evening for a dip in our waterfall hot tubs, a relaxing massage topped of with a sumptuous coastal feast and the best sleep of your life. Just wait for the entertainment to begin... Join us upstream and learn what we mean when we say To Fly is Human ..... To Hover, Divine.
