This nature lover's retreat sits peacefully high on a hill with a spectacular view over Lake Vernon and the woods around. With the southern exposure and panoramic vista, it is truly breathtaking in all directions, from the beautiful orange sunrise to deep red sunset at night. Located just 15 minutes from Huntsville but a million miles away from it all. With 1800 sq. ft. this charming cottage is perfect for 10+ people or two families. There are two levels each with its own kitchen, living room, outside deck, 2 bedrooms and bathroom. Ceiling fans, gas fireplaces and windows all around provide total comfort and a cozy and captivating experience. The added convenience of a dishwasher lets you spend your time swimming, hiking and relaxing in the outdoor 8 person hydrotherapy spa. This amazing spa has 48 jets that operate in three zones for upper-, mid-, and lower-body therapy as you soak and gaze at the stars or the view over the lake. The 400 sq. ft. deck has plenty of room for all of you to lounge around, eat and talk the night away. TVs and DVDs on both floors allow for different age groups to enjoy themselves while still at the same cottage. Enjoy meals together on the lower level or prepare smaller quieter gatherings depending on your tastes and desires.

Take the pathway and stairs down to the lake where along the way you'll find an observation deck with astonishing views and patio chairs to relax in. At the waterfront, you'll find natural vegetation along the 150ft of private shoreline and a hard packed sandy/pebble bottom for swimming. The 210 sq. ft. deck provides you with a great spot for sunbathing, or use the 180 sq. ft. dock for docking your boat and jumping in for a refreshing swim. Enjoy the canoes and kayaks with a leisurely paddle or an energetic exploration of the lake. The lake system includes 40 miles of boating and fishing on Vernon, Penninsula and Fairy Lakes. Boat or drive 15 minutes to Huntsville's shops and restaurants. In addition the area boasts some of Muskoka's finest golfing including Deerhurst, Delta Grandview, Taboo and Bigwin Island. For beach lovers, Hutcheson Beach is only a 5 minute boat ride away.

Transportation: The cottage is located about 15 minutes west of the town of Huntsville, Ontario, with boat rentals available in the next bay over. 40 minutes to Santa's Village in Bracebridge and less than an hour to Algonquin Park. Close to several area golf courses including Deerhurst and Club Link, both of which you can boat to.
Accommodations: This is a private 4 bedroom cottage (queen; queen; double/single bunk; double/single bunk) (two futons) with 2 fully equipped kitchens, 2 microwaves, dishwasher, no telephone (cell service at the cottage), 2- 4 piece bathrooms, washing machine, dryer, electric baseboard heating, blankets/pillows, 2 gas fireplaces, 2TVs/2VCRs/2DVDs, CD, radio, deck on upper level, covered deck with 8 person outdoor hot tub off lower level, propane BBQ, outdoor furniture, picnic table, outdoor fire pit, dock (20ft) ladder, water source is drilled well, potable.
Meal Information: Two fully equipped kitchens for doing your own cooking.
Weather Information: Summer temperatures average 15-25 degrees Celsius.
