Join your guides as you venture into the sandhills for a peaceful ride. Savor the tangy smell of the spruce and watch for the knarled oak trees that are scattered amongst the hills. Experience a real cowboy ride. No nose to tail here. Ride your horse wherever you see something interesting. Go galloping up a big hill or just walk along beside your friends and have the best ride of you life! Need to stretch your legs? Tie up the ponies and go for a walk by the river and have a weiner roast.

This is the perfect location for time away from the city with fresh country air, a warm, cozy cabin and a friendly horse who will take you in style on rides through some of the prettiest sights a prairie can offer? Arrange a romantic get-away, with western style cabin, all set with a hot-tub on the front deck. Or perhaps you want to show your family and friends a great time, with dinner in an authentic Indian tee-pee. To top it all off, settle back in comfort for the night, imagining what it would have been like to have lived back in the 1800s.

Season: May to October
Requirements: Sleeping bag, towel, wash cloth.
Suggested Items: Camera, film, sunscreen and lypsol, waterbottle, flashlight, book to read.
Suggested Clothing: Riding boots, hat, rain slicker, warm jacket, gloves, 2 pair jeans, swimsuit, cotton shirts, long sleeved shirts, sweatshirt.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Equipment Provided: Unlimited riding, wagon rides, hiking, swimming and relaxing in the hottub.
Transportation: The ranch is located 1.5 hours southwest of Winnipeg, on Highway 2, 7 km west of Holland, and 9 km east of Cypress River.
Accommodations: Accommodations include 2 nights in the cabin at the ranch and 2 nights camping in the sandhills.
Meal Information: Three meals per day are included and are simple yet hearty home-cooked fare.
Guide Information: Ranch staff are experienced riders and are happy to share their knowledge of the area with you.
Weather Information: Summer temperatures will range from 10 to 25 degrees Celsius.
Trip Duration: 5 days
$600.00* per person
