A weekend horseback trip in the Rockies

Experience a Western horseback trip through the Southern Rocky Mountains. Your dependable horse, covered wagons and cowboys take you to spectacular alpine country where you will ride out daily from the base camp. Be a cowboy – or girl – for the weekend. This horseback riding trip goes into our High Mountain Wilderness Camp, which is situated at 6,500' elevation and is completely surrounded by mountains. It takes between 3 and 4 hours to ride into this camp on a Friday afternoon. Camp consists of canvas outfitter’s tents with cots and foamies, a bathroom tent, and a large kitchen and dining tent.
