Multi-activity tour, the best of Banff and Jasper

Experience the best of Banff and Jasper on this six day multi-activity camping trip to some of these park's most beautiful settings. Begin in Banff, where you will have a chance to hike on the many trails in the area. A full day is spent on a guided mountain bike tour, suitable for all abilities. Then you will be transported up the scenic Icefields Parkway, towards Jasper, stopping along the way to view wildlife and take a walk on the Athabasca Glacier. Once in Jasper National Park, you will choose from a variety of day hikes to some of the most popular areas in the park. While in Jasper you will have a chance to participate in optional activities such as whitewater rafting, boat cruises and shopping.

If you have limited vacation time, this trip is a perfect introduction, or re-introduction to these two beautiful national parks. You will experience this fabulous landscape not from the window of a car, but from close up hiking and camping, the way the parks were meant to be seen.

Requirements: Sleeping bag.
Suggested Items: Camera, binoculars, sunscreen, fishing gear, sunglasses, daypack, flashlight, pocketknife.
Suggested Clothing: Clothing to suit a variety of weather conditions, rain gear, hiking boots, sneakers, warm jacket, sweater, shorts, hat, bathing suit, towel.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Restrictions: Minimum group size is 4 participants.
Maximum Number of People: 12
Equipment Provided: Van transportation, mountain bike tour, camping gear, park fees.
Transportation: Trips begin in Calgary or Banff and ends in Jasper. Bus transportation back to Banff, Calgary or Edmonton can be arranged.
Accommodations: Accommodations are in tent campsites along the way.
Meal Information: Meals are included.
Guide Information: Your guides are all residents of western Canada and their experience and leadership will provide you with a worry-free vacation.
Weather Information: Average summer temperatures range between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius.
Comments: Dates available for singles only, 40 years of age and younger.
