Hiking and canoeing tour of the Rockies

Travel to and explore two of Canada's most famous National Parks on this multi-activity adventure. Banff and Jasper National Parks offer you an amazing adventure vacation. This fun-filled camping tour of the parks combine mountain biking, whitewater rafting and hiking with a four day canoe tour down the Athabasca River. No past experience is necessary and your guides will teach you all you need to know for an enjoyable and safe adventure.

During the 15 day excursion you will have a chance to camp in some of the most spectacular areas in western Canada. A week of hiking in the high alpine, followed by a canoe trip down untamed rivers makes this the perfect wilderness experience.

Season: June to September
Requirements: Sleeping bag.
Suggested Items: Camera, binoculars, sunscreen, fishing gear, sunglasses, daypack, flashlight, pocketknife.
Suggested Clothing: Clothing to suit a variety of weather conditions, rain gear, hiking boots, sneakers, warm jacket, sweater, shorts, hat, bathing suit, towel.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Restrictions: Minimum group size is 4 participants.
Maximum Number of People: 9
Equipment Provided: Van transportation, camping gear, park fees, canoes and equipment.
Transportation: Trips begin in Calgary and end in Edmonton, Alberta.
Accommodations: Accommodations are in tent campsites along the way. Price includes one night hotel in Calgary and one night hotel in Edmonton.
Meal Information: Meals are included.
Guide Information: Your guides are all residents of western Canada and their experience and leadership will provide you with a worry-free vacation.
Weather Information: Average summer temperatures range between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius.
