Explore the beaches and glaciers of Vancouver Island on this hiking and camping tour. Vancouver Island offers incredible choices of day hikes. Among the rewards awaiting hikers are ancient rainforests, wildflower meadows, blue alpine lakes, glaciers and cascading waterfalls. During this guided camping tour trails range from easy walks on the beach to demanding full-day alpine treks. You have the benefit of hiking with an expert who knows the terrain in all kinds of weather and trail conditions and has information on the local history, flora and fauna.

Day hikes include visits to the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail, Botanical Beach, Strathcona Park and Cathedral Grove.

Requirements: Sleeping bag, daypack.
Suggested Items: Camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle.
Suggested Clothing: Clothing to suit a variety of weather conditions, rain gear, hiking boots, sneakers, warm jacket, sweater, shorts, hat, bathing suit, towel.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Restrictions: Minimum group size is 6 participants. Maximum is 12.

Equipment Provided: Minibus transportation, camping gear, park fees, ferry fees.
Transportation: Trips begin and end in either Vancouver or Victoria, BC.
Accommodations: Accommodations are in tent campsites along the route.
Meal Information: Dinner on Day 1 to lunch on Day 7 included.
Guide Information: Your guides are all residents of western Canada and their experience and leadership will provide you with a worry-free vacation.
Weather Information: Average summer temperatures range between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius.
