Day rides through Jasper National Park

The spectacular Rocky Mountains are best seen on horseback. If you are staying in Jasper or just passing through, a trail ride on horseback will add adventure to your holiday. The guided trail rides leave from the town of Jasper throughout the day and you can go for just an hour or two, or on a half day tour into the Maligne canyon.

Suggested Items: Camera, day pack, sunglasses, sunscreen, binoculars.
Suggested Clothing: Riding boots, warm clothing suited to a variety of weather conditions, rain gear and hat.

Restrictions: Minimum age of 7. Maximum weight of 230 lbs.

Transportation: Trips originate and end at the Jasper Park Lodge near the town of Jasper, Alberta. Jasper can be reached from Edmonton on Highway 16 west, about 370 km. Transportation arrangements available.
Accommodations: Not included in the price, but accommodation at the resort or at other area hotels and campgrounds is available at additional cost.
Guide Information: Licensed and experienced.
Weather Information: Summer temperatures average between 15-25 degrees Celsius, with cool evenings and mornings.
