Whitewater rafting trip on the Adams River

The beautiful Adams River is the perfect introduction to whitewater rafting. Before launching you will be fitted with all the necessary safety gear. Once on the river, your guide will explain to you thoroughly the safety procedures and rafting techniques that are a necessary part of your whitewater experience. Then it's off to the Weir for your first taste of whitewater!

You will spend at least one exhilerating hour rafting down the amazing Adams River. Make your next Shuswap vacation complete with this exciting rafting adventure.

Season: May to September
Suggested Items: Sunscreen, waterproof camera.
Suggested Clothing: Running shoes that can get wet, swimsuit or shorts, towel and a change of clothing for after the ride.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Equipment Provided: Raft and safety equipment, helmet, life jacket, wet suit, fleece jacket and rain gear.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in Scotch Creek, BC (16 km north of Highway #1, on the Squilax-Anglemont highway). Transportation arrangements available. Transportation is provided between the Scotch Creek office and the Adams River.
Accommodations: Not included in the price but available at local hotels, motels and B&Bs.
Guide Information: Your professional and courteous guides consistenly strive to ensure your rafting excursion is the safest, most exciting and memorable trip available. All guides are government certified and holders of current First Aid, CPR, and Swift Water River Rescue Training Certificates.
Weather Information: Summer temperatures average between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius.
Comments: Perfect for the first time rafter and families, but challenging enough for the experienced whitewater enthusiast.
