Dogsledding from a country spa in Quebec

Drive your own team of sled dogs through the scenic trails of the Quebec Laurentians on this exciting dogsledding adventure. Guide your team across lakes, over mountains and through forests and spend a day amongst nature with "man's best friend". This dogsledding trip is an ideal introduction to the sport of dogsledding and the groomed trails of the Quebec wilderness provide the perfect location. Take time out along the route for a light lunch around a camp fire or in an authentic Indian tipi.

Upon your return from the trail a warm fire awaits you. Enjoy a delicious meal and take the plunge in the outdoor hottub and sauna to relax the muscles. This trip is perfect for couples as a romantic ride through the wild or with a group of friends as a thrilling adventure.

Suggested Items: Camera, daypack, sunglasses, sunscreen.
Suggested Clothing: Winter coat, snow pants, long underwear, gloves, snow boots, scarf, toque, fleece underclothes.

Equipment Provided: Dogsleds and equipment. Use of the spa facilities and a one hour massage.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in Ste-Adele, Quebec. Ste-Adele is located approximately a one hour drive north of Montreal on Highway 117.
Accommodations: Accommodations are in private, comfortable rooms with private baths and decorated in country decor. Some rooms have balconies overlooking the river. The main house has a living area, fireplace, outdoor hot tub and sauna.
Meal Information: Two breakfasts and two suppers included.
Guide Information: Professional and experienced. Package includes a half day guided dogsledding tour.
Weather Information: Winter temperatures average between -5 and -20 degrees Celsius.
Comments: Dogsledding is located about 20 minutes from the spa. Transportation can be arranged.
