Osprey Lake/Kettle Valley Railway cycling trip

Cycle Osprey, Link and Chain Lakes along the scenic Kettle Valley Railway. This part of the Kettle Valley Railway or Trans-Canada Trail is just above Summerland on the way to Princeton and is a nice day trip from Kelowna. From Kelowna, you are transported to the trail at Osprey Lake Station. The transport takes just over one hour. Then your guides fit you to your bike and you begin your ride. You will cycle 10 kms over a trestle and past 3 lakes with glorious views of this mountain summit. You will stop on Chain Lake for a buffet picnic lunch before returning to Osprey Lake and your transport back to Kelowna. Total distance of the cycle is 18 km of easy cycling. There is also a longer version available where you can continue to cycle past Chain Lake along the trail, over a metal trestle and through a 91 m long tunnel. This longer tour is a total of 38 km of cycling.

Suggested Items: Camera, daypack, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle.
Suggested Clothing: Jacket, shorts, t-shirt, sneakers, long pants.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Restrictions: Minimum group size of 2.
Maximum Number of People: 20
Equipment Provided: Support van, bike rental and helmets, water.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in Kelowna, BC.
Accommodations: Not included in the price but available at local hotels, inns and resorts.
Meal Information: Lunch and snacks are included on all tours.
Guide Information: Your guides are experienced riders and very knowledgeable of the area.
Weather Information: Summer temperatures average between 20 and 33 degrees Celsius.
