Adventure lodge vacation in Algonquin Park

Spend an exciting three days at the northwest corner of Algonquin Park, canoeing, hiking, fishing and exploring for at a rustic wilderness adventure lodge. Enjoy a sunrise paddle, take in an edible wild hike or just relax and sip your drink at the backcountry adventure lodge. Your trip starts with a hike and paddle by voyageur canoe to the lodge. Once at the lodge, you will have a chance to do some sunrise fishing, participate in interpretive hikes and wildlife watching, attend a workshop for bushcraft or go on an afternoon paddle.

In the evenings you will enjoy a delicious meal and relax in front of a roaring fire. Star gaze, take a sauna or go on a evening paddle. This trip is filled with interesting and unique guided excursions, or choose the unguided option, and explore the area on your own.

Equipment Provided: Canoes and equipment.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in Algonquin Park. Transportation from Toronto, Ontario to the lodge is available for an additional cost.
Accommodations: Accommodations are two nights at a wilderness lodge. The lodge features authentic log cabin construction, shared indoor washrooms, running water, stone fireplace, library, sitting area, kerosene lighting, sauna and shower cabin. The lodge has no electricity.
Meal Information: Meals are included.
Guide Information: Guides are skilled outdoorsmen and women and will teach you the basics of paddling a canoe. They are also well versed in the natural and cultural history of northern Ontario and are trained in wilderness first aid.
Weather Information: Summer temperatures average between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius.
Comments: Trips are offered Mondays to Wednesdays or Fridays to Sundays.
