ABOUT THIS REGION  CORPORATE TEAMBUILDING

Survivor teambuilding activity

One of the most innovative and popular reality TV series is now available for your teambuilding needs in the Vancouver/Whistler area. Survivor: Canadian Outback recreates nine of the challenges as seen of the popular “Survivor” TV series. These nine unique challenges combine with ceremonies and a variety of custom locations to provide your group with a premiere teambuilding experience. Anyone can participate as no special skills, athletic ability or experience are required. The activity require 4-5 hours with your group, with the actual challenges lasting upwards of 3.5 hours. Additional time is spent with Opening & Closing Ceremonies and the BBQ meal (Squamish location only). Groups from 8-500 can participate at once.

Survivor teambuilding activity

Groups are split into tribes of 4-10 people with tribal names taken from various First Nations groups. Each tribe’s goal is to complete the various challenges as effectively as possible. Challenges test strategy, communication, and other essential business components. Physical skill is not a focus. Examples include: Blind Leading The Blind features a sighted caller leading others through obstacles & tasks, Triage features tribes building a “travois”, rescuing others and solving an SOS puzzle, Buried Treasure features tribes searching for answers to clues that will help open a vault, Tucker’d Out features tribes squaring off and eating various “delicacies” from the Outback, Squamish Scramble features tribes solving an oversized word search and math puzzle, True or False features the ability to answer trivia questions and balance at the same time. The Survivor hosts will tabulate results to determine an overall winning tribe. The winners will be presented with the cov-eted Survivor necklace during the dramatic Closing Ceremonies.
