East Shore kayaking on Prince Edward Island

The picturesque Murray River is your backdrop as you explore the eastern shores of Prince Edward Island on this kayaking expedition. From the Murray River you will explore the islets at the river's mouth, the port of Murray Harbour and the varied shoreline north to Panmure Island. The area is rich in bird life, natural and human history. Osprey and bald eagles are commonly sighted here and grey harbour seals are likely to accompany you on your excursion.

Requirements: Sleeping bag.
Suggested Items: Camera, binoculars, sunglasses, sunscreen, flashlight, pocketknife, water bottle, daypack, waterproof bag.
Suggested Clothing: Clothing suited to a variety of weather conditions, rain gear, hat, warm jacket, sneakers.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate

Equipment Provided: Kayaks and equipment, camping equipment, tents, sleeping pads.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in Charlottetown, PEI. Transportation arrangements available.
Accommodations: Tent campsite along the way.
Meal Information: All meals are included and prepared fresh by your guides.
Guide Information: Your guides are experienced, safety conscious and professional. They are trained in wilderness first aid and have many years of guiding experience in atlantic Canada.
Weather Information: Summer temperatures average between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius.
Comments: Suitable for first time kayakers and families.
