Walk and Wade the upper Bow River

World class trout river fishing can be found on the Bow River near Banff National Park, Alberta. Your experienced guide will take you through spectacular areas where you will 'walk and wade' to pursue rainbow and brown trout. New fishing spots around every bend in the Bow River, with challenging riffles and deep pools.

Test your fly fishing abilities as you stalk these beautiful fish. The upper Bow River is still a wild freestone mountain river, boasting 40km of catch and release waters.

Season: March to October
Requirements: Bring a lunch if desired.
Suggested Items: Camera.
Suggested Clothing: Boots, hat, warm clothing to suit a variety of weather conditions, rain gear.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Restrictions: Not recommended for children under 12.
Maximum Number of People: 12
Equipment Provided: Fishing gear and tackle, waders, fishing license.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in Canmore, Alberta. Canmore is 100 km west of Calgary on Highway #1. Pick up in Canmore is included in the price. Pick up in Banff can also be arranged.
Accommodations: Accommodation is not included in price. Arrangements available in local hotel, motels or bed & breakfast.
